The Core Sessions

High Performance Coaching is a process designed to explore the various methods of reaching heightened and sustained levels of performance and potential throughout your life. As a Certified High Performance Coach, I will work with you in this process through five key principles: Clarity, Energy, Courage, Productivity and Influence.

By mastering these areas, you will create the ongoing feeling of full engagement, joy, and confidence that comes from consistently living from your best self. You’ll feel more purposeful and fulfilled, and you’ll discover new beliefs, habits, and tools that will enable you to join the world’s most successful people.

Weekly Call: We will connect weekly for 1 hour via phone or Zoom videoconference.

Weekly Assignments: You will be given weekly assignments to amplify our time together, and keep you making consistent forward progression in all areas of your life.

Extra Support: You will have unlimited email access to me between sessions (response within 24 hours), and you will have access to any resource I have in my possession that will help you in any way.

The Core Sessions Overview

Goal Over the next 12 weeks you will engage with 12 topics that will help you reach heightened and sustained levels of performance and potential in your life.

Session One: Focal Points

We look at where you are currently in a few key areas, what you are currently focused on, what level of agency or control you feel right now in your life, and which habits you have that are already supporting you or pulling you away from performing at your highest level.

Session Two: Clarity

Our goal this session is to understand where you have strengths and gaps in the amount of clarity you have in your life right now

Session Three: Energy

In this session we will aim to quantify your daily energy and devise strategies to amplify the vibrancy and stamina you need to achieve your goals and live a fully charged life.

Session Four: Courage

Our goal in this session is to discuss where you feel you’ve been confident and courageous in life, and where you might be holding back or backing down in some situations.

Session Five: Productivity

In this session we will see how productive and effective you feel in your personal life and work life, and I will give you a set of tools and concepts to help you quickly and easily improve these areas.

Session Six: Influence

Our goal in this session is to gauge how influential you’ve felt in your relationships and career, and to give you a few tools and concepts that will raise your level of action and influence.

Session Seven: Psychology Mastery

At this half-way point in the program we will begin going deeper into the six pillars of high performance customized to your situation: psychology, physiology, persuasive skills, presence, and purpose. Our goal in this session is to understand the success mindset in you.

Session Eight: Physiology Mastery

In this session we will check in on your energy and physiology (from Session 3) and build upon it with more tools that activate your physiology so you feel stronger and more vibrant.

Session Nine: Productivity Mastery

Our goal in this session is to review how productive you have been over the past few weeks so we can look at ways you can become even more effective towards reaching your goals.

Session Ten: Persuasion Mastery

In this session we will gauge how persuasive and influential you’ve felt in your relationships and career. I will give you tools that will raise your level of effectiveness in these areas.

Session Eleven: Purpose Mastery

At this point in the course you should have been moving towards your goals. We will analyze how effectively you have been in reaching these goals and to what extent you have been living and leading a purposeful and effective lifestyle.

Session Twelve: Commitment to High Performance

In this the final session we will check in on your performance and define your best areas for commitment and discipline as you move forward. This process is a commitment every day of your life that results in heightened and sustained levels of performance and potential.  

The Charge Sessions: Activating the 10 Human Drives That Make You Feel Alive

High Performance Coaching is a process designed to explore The 10 human drives. The only way to measurably improve the quality of your life is to learn how to activate and master these 10 human drives that make you most human. These drives are your desires for more control, competence, congruence, caring, connection, change, challenge, creative expression, contribution, and consciousness. These drives shape everything you think, feel, and do in life, so understanding and mastering them is critical to your success and happiness. Strategically activating these drives on a consistent basis is the fastest path to living a fully charged life. Harnessing our human drives is not easy; if it were, we wouldn’t see so much restlessness in the world. That’s why Brendon has devised what he calls the true “activators” of human experience—a series of powerful yet simple actions you can take to radically increase your levels of energy, engagement, and fulfillment in all areas of your life. What we will uncover in The Charge Sessions will surprise and challenge you. It turns out that most of the ways we seek to meet our human drives are actually counterproductive. We all want more control, for example, but seeking to have more certainty in our daily lives or to control other people will actually decrease our levels of control (and happiness). We have a deep desire for change, too, but we often fail to make the right kinds of change that would make us feel more alive and in command of our lives.

Charge Sessions Overview

Goal: Over the next 12 weeks you will engage with 12 topics that will help you discover how you engage the 10 human drives and direct you in the most useful areas to apply it.

In these next 12 sessions, we’ll examine what makes you feel the most alive and fulfilled. These sessions will help you master your internal world so that you can better direct your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. You’re going to learn the 10 human drives framework. In high performance work, we often discuss what drives your desire and behavior. So in these sessions, we’ll discuss these areas and see what habits are supporting or hurting your progress and performance.

Session 1: 10 Human Drives framework

In this session we’ll introduce the concepts of the 10 Human Drives framework and we will rank them on a scale 1-10 to Identify where you might be feeling caged, comfortable or charged.

Session 2: Control

In this session we’ll take on the human drive for control. Control is an important topic in high performance, because if you feel out of control, or you control the wrong things, you can end up feeling uncertain, disappointed, or unfulfilled.

Session 3: Competence

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Competence. Competence is our knowledge, skill and ability in any area of life. It’s an important topic in high performance because if you don’t feel competent at something, you feel less confident in trying it. Yet if you don’t develop your knowledge, skills and abilities in an area, you can’t grow or reach high performance.

Session 4: Congruence

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Congruence. Congruence is the feeling we have when we are living in alignment and integrity with our beliefs and values. It means we are being who we want to be on a consistent basis. When we don’t feel congruent, we feel out of sorts, upset and, at extremes, depressed. But when we feel in integrity with our highest self, we feel a sense of pride and fulfillment with life.

Session 5: Caring

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Caring. Caring is so important to our ability to feel psychologically safe and accepted. If we are cared for, and we have deep caring for others, we feel happier and healthier. The more we’re cared for, the more engaged and grateful. The more we care, the more we give.

Session 6: Connection

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Connection. We often talk about connection in high performance: connection with our mission, ourselves, with others, and connection with the moment. Today, we’ll zoom in on the relationship angle.

Session 7: Change

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Change. Everything we’ve spoken about in coaching has an element of change to it. Change is how we adapt, grow and actualize our best selves. But as you know, sometimes change is hard. So this is an area we’ll always be working on.

Session 8: Challenge

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Challenge. You already know how important challenge is in high performance coaching. It’s central to everything we do – to always be willing to push ourselves to our highest level of growth and contributions.

Session 9: Creative Expression

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Creative Expression. Creative expression is all about how you share your unique identity with the world. It’s about sensing and exhibiting the true you. It’s about voicing our ideas and living our authentic mark on the world.

Session 10: Contribution

In this session, we’ll cover our desire for Contribution. Contribution is one of the great drives in our life. It makes us look outside of ourselves and find meaning in what we do. It’s the secret to feeling like we’ve made a difference and served a purpose beyond our needs.

Session 11: Conscious Living

In this session, we’ll cover our human drive for Conscious living. Seeking a heightened consciousness or awareness of ourselves, surroundings and spirit is one of the great marks of the human species. We want to be awake and in touch with our own senses and surroundings.

Session 12: Celebration

In the last 11 sessions, we’ve conducted a deep dive into the 10 human drives framework. In this session, let’s revisit your assessment and see how you’re progressing and what areas you can be focusing on moving forward.

The Declaration Sessions: Advanced motivation

Too often we live randomly and accept mediocrity, keeping ourselves down. Without setting clear intentions and standards, we may miss the chance to achieve personal freedom. These sessions address the quest for personal freedom as our main motivation in life. Freedom to express our true selves and pursue our dreams without restriction, living our life as fully as possible.

The first part of the sessions are focused on human nature, where we explore freedom, fear, and motivation. The second part reveals 9 strategies for reclaiming your personal power, achieving your goals, and creating a life of freedom and greatness.

The Declaration Sessions Overview

Goal: Over the next 12 weeks you will engage with 12 topics that will help you discover how to discover how to reclaim our lives and find our own personal freedom.

Session 1: Personal Freedom

Our goal this session is to identify what would make you feel even more free and happy in the present moment, and to begin shaping an even more ideal future vision for you. It’s about feeling and achieving a sense of freedom.

Session 2: Beyond Fear

Our goal this session is to continue our conversations about what the ideal future would be like for you, but to specifically address any fears you might have about pursuing your goals as boldly as you are capable of.

Session 3: Sustained Motivation

Our goal this session is to identify what would make you feel even more motivated. We’ll talk about your ambitions and the habits you have for sustaining motivation over the long haul. I know we’ve discussed these themes before, but I feel it would serve you to get even more bold and tactical in this area, especially as you have big goals coming up.

Session 4: Presence and Power

Our goal this session is to check in on your presence – your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual awareness - and to see how engaged and empowered you feel in the major roles of life.

Session 5: Reclaim Your Agenda

Our goal this session is to identify what you want your life agenda to really be about, and to discover where you might be able to live even more purposefully. Because staying true to yourself and your own path or mission is a mark of greatness and Personal Freedom.

Session 6: Defiance

Our goal this session is to identify what is called as “Defiance,” that internal resistance we feel that sabotages our ability to grow or connect. Defiance is sort of like our internal demons of doubt, the things preventing us from doing what we know we should do.

Session 7: Advance with Abandon

Our goal this session is to discuss ways that you might be able to advance more boldly or consistently toward your dreams. We’ll also talk about how you can finish the important projects you’re working on more quickly and without hesitation.

Session 8: Joy and Gratitude

Our goal this session is to really think about how we can bring even more positive emotion and experiences into your life.

Session 9: Integrity

Our goal this session is to discuss the topic of integrity. It’s about checking-in to see if you are being congruent and where you feel you are compromising or rising up. Integrity is about having intention and commitment for who we wish to be, how we want to treat others, what we wish to give—it’s about living our truth and being our most truthful and consistent selves.

Session 10: Love

Our goal this session is to help you connect to your heart and deepen your most important relationships. We’re going to talk about love today – how you express your heart and how you show up for those you love most.

Session 11: Inspire Greatness

Our goal this session is to identify what greatness means to you, and how you could inspire others to live a life of greatness as well.

Session 12: Slow Time

Our goal this session is see where you can become even more mindful and appreciative of the simple moments of life. It’s to help you find more of that joy and Personal Freedom that makes all the work so worth it.
